Was wondering if someone has the measurements for placing 12x18 Fire-Chief pump plates on a Wayne 60. Thanks for any help. Les

Les everything I have read says 4" below dial or add glass. What I have seen on pictures looks lower than that. Richard

Fred, I have hundreds if not thousands in a database that I am continually adding to. Nothing better than old pictures for proof of certain things.
Unfortunately, most pictures are taken from a distance of the entire station, so detail on a sign or a pump or... is often hard to find.

Les,

Last month I picked up a farm fresh 60 with the original Fire Chief Plates still on it. I will get you the measurements.

I looked through the Texaco station pictures I have and the signs are all over the place. The ones with lead signs on the doors have the signs down low. The short pumps had them about 4 inches below the face. Here is a twin 60 and the signs are not in the same place. I would put them on were you like the look of them.

Ok
I measured fire Chief pump plate on the farm fresh pump. It is mounted 10 inches down from the top of the door. A contains lead sign is mounted 2 and 1/2 inches down from the top of the door. But like Matt said put it were you like. Most often bulk oil companies or station dealers mounted mounted the signs not the factory.
