I was just wondering what the consensus is on the current value of a Chevrolet 13' 6" DSP Neon sign in 98% condition? I have some ideas from past sales I've seen on it's value, but would like some other inputs. Thanks

taking a random guess here, imo, there is a much smaller market for these tall vertical neons... the average joe just doesnt have the space to display it.
my guess, as-is, without neon... $8k.

I'm wondering why someone has not put neon on it yet since those are bringing $15K+

Sounds like someone will sell this, then the new buyer will have a can built, wired, and then neon. With this big of a sign not the cheapest thing for a double sided, especially if the correct colors are used. Would like to know if it was going to market though to see what someone thought.

put it on ebay as a straight auction... you will get the most accurate fair market evaluation that way. (i bet it doesnt get to $15k)

Glenn Miller had one a couple years ago at one of his auctions that was double sided with the can original with new neon and if I remember right it went for under 10 grand I agree with Bryce, the size makes a whole Lotta difference! Both porcelain panels were in great shape as was the can and I even thought about bidding on it but size made me ask myself where will I put it

13' will fit inside of the 20' buildings some of the guys have. Not for the 'small' collector. And thus the price will go crazy because the guys who can afford 20' tall buildings can afford paying $$$ to get neon on this and won't have issue bidding out their bank account to make sure Smith and Jones don't get it.
