Well sort of 2 new globes added. I bought the DynaFuel globe with one broken lens, took out the broken lens and put in the Knockless lens. I use the little clips for now. It's not going anywhere. I need to get a snap ring.
I wish I could raise the Goodyear sign but it's up against the heat duct above.

Damn, I'll tell you, I get so nervous anytime I have to touch a globe!! And anytime I touch that Knockless lens my heart skips a beat. You have to be stupid careful!!

As much as I like the Knockless for it's crazy rareness and age, I love that Dynafuel lens!!

I like the "knockless" the best. To much white on the other ones.

Very nice Steve....I like them all!

I too get the nervous nellies when I handle my globes. It was heck trying to clean the Standard flame I bought not too long ago. It is large, heavy, and being an apartment dweller I do not have a bathtub, so lots of care was necessary cleaning it. So far, so good...knock on wood!

I call it the 'globe shakes'... that moment when you are trying to remove an old snap ring or put one back in. It's one of the most terrifying feelings... sweaty palms and all.

That CRACK sound a snap ring makes when you install it can raise your blood pressure for sure!
