Have a friend that has this gas pump ID tag says G&B 86 but the doors look different and the sides are also a little different than the G&B 86's I have seen in the past any ideas of make and model number? Thanks in advance for your help Don

...window glass looks a little long...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Don,
Looks to me like an 86 that someone simply took some artistic liberties with when they restored it. Probably missing a bunch of parts so they made do. The face bezels are wrong...probably repop 36b. Top is "custom". I can't tell for sure from the pics but looks like the doors have the correct holes for the the bolts that secure them to the body. Why do you say the doors attach differently?

The 86 uses the inspection doors when using the veedor root computer. The 87 clockface version did not need the inspection doors, many of them did not come out with an inspection door. My last one did not have the inspection doors. I agree with Petropumps, someone did a creative job of fabricating their own version of replacement parts. Brady
