I got this about a week ago. Thought I would share. It was a fun story how I got it. I was with my wife and a friend going two pick up a pump I found and was a couple hours early so was looking around for other stuff when I saw a old car in a yard. Guy was outside working in his yard so I stopped to look at the car and got talking to him about it. He said it was for sale so we talked for about 30 minutes and I got his number. Just getting ready to leave I asked if he new of any pumps or signs around he said no pumps but I have a grizzly sign that was blue. He did not have it here but could get it. So I asked if he would be interested in selling it he said yes if I would buy the car. So I said yes if he got it and it was the real thing. He said it is I found it in a build around 1972. I left and called him the next day and he said he had not got the sign yet buy asked what I would pay for it. So I made a offer on it with out seeing it but also said I would have to see it also. He said ok and that he would call me soon two weeks go buy and I can't wait anymore and call him. He says I did not get it but I will tomorrow and call you. He did and said he could send me pictures to more sure I still wanted it. Got the pictures and made the deal. I am supper happy to have it.
Always looking for grizzly gasoline stuff, or any Montana gas and oil stuff.

Congratulations Scott! You now have the Montana version of the "Holy Grail" of advertising signs in your possession! Hang on tight, they have a way of slipping away when times get tough!

Nice pick up Scott.I can see that sign slipping all the way to ND! Not much wrong with it, looks like it has day one gloss too. Now what about the car attached to the sign deal? Congratulations.

Scott, incredible score- one you don't see everyday- don't let that slip away as you'll most likely never get another one, that sign (a mint one) is in the 10k neighborhood & appears too be close.. ...

And that is how easy the picking is. LOL. Most people think a guy just drives around and finds a little old lady needing to sell something. Great find and good thing you asked the last question before leaving.
