Morning all. Winter is definitely upon us here in the Ozarks with blowing snow and 34 degrees. Moving through pretty fast though and shouldn't amount to much. I made it through my eye surgery yesterday and am heading to my local eye doctor shortly for the follow up and get this eye patch removed. Hope everything is good and I can see again! Like everyone told me, it was all in all a pretty easy procedure but I'm glad it's over. In a month I get to go through it all again on my other eye. Even though the snow is supposed to move out, the temps are going to stay cold for a couple of days so looks like shop living will be my agenda. I'm sure a lot of you are getting more of the white stuff than we are so be careful out there. Have a good weekend all.....GB

Hello All...
I woke up around 7 to grass out the front windows, now it's all white and snow is coming down at a pretty good clip. Our first snowfall of the year and we're under an advisory! I guess Mother Nature is not going to ease us slowly into winter this year!
I guess it doesn't really matter to me, I don't have to go anywhere and it will be a nice day to do some rearranging before the holidays start.
Have a good day everyone, and good luck at the doctors Gary.
Darin

Added a photo of the view out the front window as of 11 am.....

Morning all!

Boy, it's pretty outside, just a dusting so I guess it's official, winter is coming. Joy.
This is what it looks like going to my shop and at the shop. You could hear the flakes fall it is so quite. Doubt it will last too long and thats a ok with me.

I'll be in the shop this morning and watch the race this afternoon, build a fire and try to stay awake.

Have a good one all.

Good morning all! I'll continue with the Michigan edition. We had three inches on the deck at 8am, and it's still snowing. Going to look at a 900-1000 series Bennett and Mobil globe this afternoon.
Everyone have a great, and safe day!

Always looking for Standard Oil of Indiana, or any globes!

Afternoon all! No snow here in God's country, but the high winds lsat week, did leave a sheet of lake ice on the shore and anything near it. We have a set of steps going down to the lake, over the tops of the rocks and they were instantly coated with ice on Wednesday & Thursday. By today, it warmed slightly and the ice has retracted some from the metal hand railing, but has retained its shape until the wind or weather knocks it over! I hope it melts tomorrow, as we are supposed to have 40 degree weather?? Seems unlikely, but we will take it!!
Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN
