Who's coming to the Matthews auction, and the Chicagoland's Petroleum and Advertising show in October?
I MIGHT be able to arrange a tour of a few collections in the area if there's enough interest.
One collection contains petroliana, vintage scooters and a killer model train set up.
Another contains 200+ vintage scooters and motorcycles, and also includes petro items. There's another collector in the area that has an ecclectic collection of petro items, indian artifacts, brass steam whistles, etc.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll see about setting up a tour.

John, I was thinking of doing the tour on Thursday.
The auction is Friday, show set up Saturday, and the show Sunday.

I'll be at the swap meet for Saturday setup and the show on Sunday. Can't get off work during the week. The tour sounds good. I enjoyed the last one.
