Morning all, it stopped raining yesterday! A week solid I think. Hang on SC as you guys are really getting pounded. Nothing like that here thank goodness. Have lots to do,but I can't seem to stop watching the live auction.Crazy! Way out of my league! Waiting on couple items but I think they will still be on my wish list when the hammer falls.
Have a great day all!!

Top of the week to all. A cool and sort of dreary morning here but we could use some of the rain you've had Loyd as its really getting dry around here. Never thought I'd say that again the way this years been.. Likewise, I'm not getting much done watching the auction. I'm hoping they run out of money by the time the one item I'm wanting comes up, but I wouldn't bet on it. Some things haven't went as crazy high as I thought but others sure have. It's just unreal to think of paying as much for some of the things as they have. Anyone who thinks our economy is bad hasn't been watching..... Have a great week everybody....GB

7 inches of rain in the upstate of SC. We had some flooding, but nothing like Columbia. They were socked hard as the storm rotated around the capitol of the state. I have a niece in Myrtle Beach area but she's OK, thought there is considerable flooding in the area that will remain as the water flows from the upstate down toward the coast.
The damage statewide isn't as bad as Hurricane Hugo, but in some areas like Columbia it's far worse. Interstates shut down, more than 350 roads closed, and numerous bridges in the hundreds as well. If you need to go to south Georgia use i-85 to Atlanta, though i-77 may be open figure on it being a nightmare anyplace near columbia. I-95 too may wind up being passable, but there aren't great alternates for interstate travel if they have to close sections for threats of flooding over the next few days.
Collecting anything keeps you young at heart!

Good evening everyone! I hope the auction went well for the buyers. I wish I could just be there to witness it. Oh well. Take care everyone.
