Here's a 1958 Swept Side Dodge truck, it was a fun truck to drive around except for the bull low 1st gear. These are rare trucks only made 1957, 58 & 59.

Nice truck Dave! I don't think I've seen one like that, love the tail lights. Great styling.
I've been looking for trucks lately, I want that to be the next resto project (once I have $)! I've been thinking about getting a studebaker truck. I have some pics but no way to add to post right now.

You could also get the Dodge Sweptsides with a push-button automatic.

My Grandpa's Dad (My Great Grandpa Earl) had an old Sweptside back in the 60's. I'm trying to get a picture. My Great Grandpa was an electrician back in the day. I met him when I was young but I unfortunately don't remember it. Apparently I would not sit on his knee for a while. Anyway I'm going to find some pictures of it soon.

Heard a good story today. My Grandpa says that electricians back in the day had people who supervised them at times. If these 'supervisors' went back with no marks on the 'supervisor'card they got in trouble. Apparently every electrician back in the 60's had faults. So my Great Grandpa Earl always trew it right back at them and got mad at them. Because of this my Grandpa couldn't get his electrical certificate. He had to go to another province before he passed his test, first time. This was because those fellas didn't like my Great Grandpa. My Grandpa says he always made sure his work was top notch, he was very picky and wouldn't think about leaving until he knew everything was perfectly sound. So when he knew an inspector was giving him ***** he gave it back. This was back in about 1965. This was an awesome story for me to hear today and I wanted to share it.
