Had a pm from a member saying that he wasn't in danger but friends are in the danger zone, and am wondering about all the old gassers in the region. When Fred mentioned the smoke blocking the sun causing the temps to go down, I thought I would look it up. This site shows how extensive the fires are: http://www.esri.com/services/disaster-response/wildlandfire/latest-news-mapAny news from that side of our world? Hope you all are safe!

The fire last month was about 3 miles away and the winds were blowing away from us. One of the hazards when you live in the country. Richard

Even Portland was extremely smokey over the weekend because the wind changed and blew it this way. It is just terrible and not much of a let up till this weekend rain.
