This is a never-used, Allstate Battery Bank. The bank is metal, with a plastic top. It dates to the early 1950's. Promotional slogans on both ends. Mentions Sears, Roebuck & Co. and Simpson-Sears Limited. 2-1/4" long by 1-3/4" deep by 2-3/8" high. Orange battery case and dark blue battery top.
Very good condition on all the paint and graphics. No dents. As I mentioned, it appears this bank was never used. There is a 1/16" long hairline crack on one corner of the plastic battery top. This is on the side of the top (and not the top surface). I'm sure this occurred, when the removable cover was pushed on. It might have even happened during the final assembly process. This tiny crack is hard to spot, and doesn't distract from the displayability of this nifty bank.
