This is a pair of NOS outdoor sign lights that came out of a Cities Service bulk plant some years back. They are porcelain, and seem to be of a slightly lighter green color. So, I'm thinking they were designed to be used on a Cities Service gas station pole sign.

Would these fixtures only be for use with Cities Service signs, because of the lighter green porcelain, or would they also be "correct" for other brands? I'd also appreciate any thoughts on the current value of these two NOS porcelain light fixtures. Thanks! John

With the condition shown, I would think around $150 to $200 for the pair.

...probably made just got Cities Service...wonder how close that color is to Sinclair 'Dino' green?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I agree they're worth north of $150.
Put them side by side with something Sinclair "Dino" green and I think you'll see there is a significant difference in color.
The lights Sinclair used were shaped differently as well.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.
