I don't know about all of you, but one of the first things I do in the morning and when I get home from work is to check Oldgas to see what's going on. This site is addictive. I'm very happy that Jim Potts has made this site available and I think we should all think about doing our part to show our appreciation.

I'd like to suggest that all of us donate a mere $5 to Jim and this site for making this site available. $5 is not much, but if all of the members on this site would send Jim just $5 dollars, I think it would go a long way to show our support for Jim and his site.

For all Jim has done on this site, my guess is that he loses money or barely breaks even keeping this site alive. Speaking of Christmas, just a quick story. I've told my kids that they were getting nothing but stocking-stuffers for Christmas and that we were going to only GIVE gifts to some families in our communities. That part is true, but what they don't know is that they will be spending Christmas morning in a cabin on the New Mexico slopes. They are pretty bummed about no presents under the tree, so at some point, I will have to let them in on the secret. Seth/Vic's '66'

I wasn't going to put a reply on this post, but I keep reading about how few have given a donation. And I don't think that is the case. I and I'm fairly sure I'm not the only one, gave a donation but didn't feel the need to put that info out there. Mac's post has, atleast in my opinion, snowballed and maybe not in the best direction. Now I believe that the inital post and its ideals were and are great. Jim and all those who give the info and help, do a great job here and I do check it as often as I can, even at times from a hospital bed. Some, up to now I was one, don't feel the need to let others know what we do. So maybe some thought could be considered to those who want to be in the background. Just a thought.
