Your Erie 77 was introduced in 1940, and your pump was made in August of 1940. As for value, the committee who helped me with values for all the equipment that will be in my new book, value the pump at $500.00 unrestored, and without a globe. As for a restored value, that depends on the quality of restoration you do. I remember a vendor showing up at Columbus one year with about five "restored" pumps. When I opened the door of one of them to look inside, the door fell off. Also, he had done nothing, not even cleaning the inside of the pump. I also remember a phone call from a restorer who told he had just restored a pump, and was quite proud of the fact that he had had the frame chrome plated. This is why I valued pumps in unrestored condition in my book.
