They were common all over the US but I believe many were destroyed possibly for scrap during the war...

So cool. Sean, were they lit with Acetelene, propane or natural gas or? That AGA insignia looks similar to the modern AGA/Burdox logo... Are any of the original lighting works still present?

The regulator, burner and bracket for the tank are all still present...Probably the most complete unit I have found so far...
