Friday afternoon I went to the viewing for an auction in Concord NH. I took a few pictures. This morning I decided not to bother going to the sale. It would be several hundred lots before they would get to anything I was interested in and I had other commitments for the afternoon. http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/auctionview.cgi?lid=2352156

There are some very nice things mixed in among the hundreds of Franklin Mint and reproduction items. I am so jaded form a week of seeing so much stuff that I figured I would not be able to handle the crowd that would show to this type of sale. It would bother me to watch the crazy prices that I believe things will go for. I could be wrong and be missing out but I don't think so. I will call a friend that I hear went today and see what his reaction to the sale is.

I really like the three Frigidaire signs. Just wondering in your opinion are they original or reproductions?

I heard the Frigidaire signs went in the 1500 range and the pumps 80000.
Any one there know what the motorcycle went for ?

Seems that not having it online is a bad move on their part?

I was stuck at Brimfield otherwise I would have loved to been there. I too would like to know if prices were insane or reasonable?

I talked to a few friends that were at the auction. I don't think it hurt them to not have it on the computer from what they said. The indication was that the prices were crazy. Lots of big money paid for the repro stuff as well.

I believe the Ford sign went for just $550. But it was not marked by a maker which may have scared off buyers. I have seen this particular style of sign marked by Veribrite Signs, Chicago.
