Yeah I'd stop at the first pump. Like the BMW like globes on Jupiter Oil.

I've seen another photo of this street and each seems to be attached to a garage--do you think it is an early pit stop for the Grand Prix back then? I know that Blue de France was the official international racing color of France. Though I think Blue Flag gas stations were a chain.
Or because they are in a port city, would they be in an area where each pump represented a trucking/transport company? But according to a photo blog of the town, the address is 10 av.Georges Clémenceau which is not near the water and is much changed since then.
Just guessing all this...it is curious.

I'd fill up at the first pump...looks like the lady in the trench coat is offering a flash with every fill.
