I have this pump and need a cylinder which is a 12 x 27, but also the top does not have the attachment for the dome top in which I got. Would the top fit onto the globe ring? do not have a picture of what this should look like on top with the top on.
Thanks

Top looks like an upside-down salad bowl. It has three supports that run down to a collar that fits in what looks like the globe ring on the cast top on your pump. Underside of the salad bowl top was painted white for reflection.

...Craig, I used to have that pump, but sold it a few years ago...here's the only photo I have of that area of the pump...along with petropumps' description, it should give you an idea:

Great, this is what I needed also. Thanks for the help everyone. Now just have to figure out how to get a 12 x 27 cylinder. IS the etchings on this four sides or two? Is there indicators on the inside of some?
Thanks

...the one I had, had etching on two sides...the 'indicators' were as shown in the photo: unmarked discs...

...FYI - the dome is MUCH larger in diameter than the cylinder...

I have a repro dome and globe holder for it. I just needed to see the pic there to let me know how it attached and what length they might be. Did not understand what the discs were for though.
Thanks

The domes seem to be at a different height on some of the pumps from the pictures. Braden, yours seems to be lower than Gulfiends. Love the 67 fastback.

...I think that's just the angle of the photo - that looks like my pump did...

Why does the top have the globe mount on the cast top?and then a bonnet covers it, i got the same pump with no bonnet but has a globe mount on it just like what was in the pic why would the do that it seems as it is common for that 300?

Craig,

Here is a picture of the top of one I sold years ago. This is the only pic I have of the top. It shows the globe mounting ring was attached to the top. It also shows the drilled holes in the top for mounting. It looks like Braden will be able to help you better since he has an original at home , but I thought I’d show you anyway.

From petropumps description it sounds like that is just a collar on the top cast jar lid to bolt the bonnet supports to, even though it looks like a globe mounting ring, it may not be (but I'm not sure).
