I usually don't buy paper items. A picker, stopped by and offered this for sale. Overpaid for it, but I had to have it.

I thought, it was pretty cool subject matter. Complete with Pin Up girl, a dog, a plane, Texaco gas station, Dodge trucks. From a small local BC town.

Nice large size 22x46". A little brittle from being rolled up since 1951.

I just love those style calendars. I have one from 1953. That one has such great content with the airplane tail, plus the imprint copy for Sullivan Motors. Thanks for sharing.

"Body work expertly done" I'll say! The girl is cute too! Hey what do you expect from a guy with a canine avatar. Nice pick up Dave.

Thanks, I'll be taking this in and getting it framed.

Wonder what is meant by "in connection" (in fine print) just below the Paint and Body Shop?

Love the calendar Dave, I like anything with airplanes.....and the old pinup girls aren't bad either smile. The "in connection" line says to me that both the paint shop and the body shop are in the same building or at least connected to each other....? Sound logical?....GB
