Looking for either Oilzum, Shamrock, and Cities Service or maybe all if the price is right. Not looking for anything mint. I'm fine with reasonable damage/rust. Looking to spend around 250 - 300 for each. Thanks -George

Cities service round--$800 to 900
Cities service clover shaped--$900 to $1200
Shamrock Kerosene --$900 to $1200
Shamrock Diesel--$500 to $700
Shamrock trailmaster--$300 to $400
Shamrock Cloudmaster--$300 to $400
I don't have any for sale but thought I'd help adjust your pricing thoughts!
These prices are all for 9 condition plates and I'm probably a little conservative.

I guess I don't get why you have to do that Kevin. The man posted what he was looking for, and good for him if someone hits him up with a 'buy'. I will have to look but I don't think this is 'Petroliana Value'

Sorry, but let guys ask for what they want

Larry

edited: Let me add to this. Back when Seth or what ever his name was that owned Vic's 66. EVERYTIME someone would post under wanted that they wanted an original part he would jump in and tell them about his business and what repop stuff he had. That pretty much put a kebosh on the posters 'want'

Hey thanks fellas. No worries in either direction. It's a learning curve for me with a few of these items so I welcome any input. My intentions were to find some rough ones as I like the aging. Perhaps I didn't elaborate enough. If I'm off on a "rough condition" item as well then that's something I need to know. I'm looking for items in the 5 or 6/10 conditions.

Larry-- You're right! I was trying more to be helpful than critical, but I guess I flubbed that. I sure wasn't trying to interject myself into his business by telling him what he needed to offer, but more like giving him current price ranges, so that he would know what the stuff was worth, and you're right, this isn't the value section, and he wasn't asking for values.
My apologies!--KEVIN

Dirty...for what its worth to you...Oilzum didnt make pump plates...never sold gas, just oil products. Any of the 12" round stuff out there are repops.

Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.

A 9.5 or better Shamrock Diesel #2 just sold on ebay Sunday for $405 with shipping .

The Shamrocks Trail Masters and Cloud Masters I have seen on ebay pretty much are in $150 range to $250 dollar range depending on the day . Some of the others are pretty rare to find, Especially Shamrock Kerosene The diesel one comes up every now and then and the round City Service one comes up pretty often, the clover one , I don't see that often . But if your patient and you search ebay You will find the common ones. The best advise is buy quality you will always appreciated more. and always displays better, unless you just like junky looking signs for outside . That' s just my opinion . Some people like mustard and some people like ketchup on there hot dogs .

Well I've learned quite a few things from this post. Thanks for helping set me straight all. I've been suspect of 12" signs/plates from the begining so you guys have just shored all of that up for sure. Thanks. I knew that Oilzum wasn't gas but didn't know they never made a small type sign. Was thinking along the lines of a lubestor or something. I'll keep learning promise. Thanks for the warm welcome also. Oh and I've put a bid on that Cities plate on ebay a few days ago. We'll see what happens.

As far as I know and I could be wrong but oilzums smallest sign was a lollipop like this one. I don't think there was a oil dispenser paddle either. But I could be wrong.
