Hey Oldgas.com! I have this Wayne 70 and was wondering what you guys think its value might be. It has the correct face plate on one side, the other has a piece of paper over it.

Wayne 70's have continuously gone up in value, with a nice original paint pump selling in the $800 to $1200 range. That said, a good restoration like you have would cost around $2000 to $2500 if you didn't do it yourself.
Now the drawbacks--once a pump is restored, you limit the sales audience because of the theme of the restoration, and the quality of the restoration. Makes it harder to sell when you don't have the EXACT product the buyer wants. It makes for a lower value on the pump.
No doubt about it, you have a very nice looking pump with a quality restoration, and it should easily bring the $2000, and maybe more if you contact the right buyer.
I have seen pumps of this quality bring as high as $6500, but again--to the right buyer!!!

Agreed on the above. Also older restorations do not bring great prices. I doubt this would bring more than $1500. Nice looking pump but it shows wear around bottom and you would have to enjoy as is or redo it like Kevin said how you want. We have bought a lot of older restored nice looking visibles and clock face pumps and are lucky to get $2500 for them in most cases. Just my opinion. Scott B.
