Ryan that Cosden gas is awesome.
Here are two of mine first is a Mfa oil sign not very pretty but it's only the second one I have ever seen and since I collect Mfa well had to have it.

Second is this Clark sign got it last week. I have been after it for years but the guy wasn't ready to sell. So when I saw it on Facebook forsale I went to his shop. He didn't no what I was talking about but he would sell it so we struck a deal and it's in my garage now

Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes.

Well, its been a fantastic year for me, with a lot of finds and lucky acquisitions.
Since my first love is gas pumps, my BOTY has to be the Wayne 60 showcase I bought in the hills of South Dakota.
When it comes to signs, to finally be able to purchase this Texaco Marine sign from my good friend Petro Pete, has to top the list!
While not oil & gas, the Long Island Duckling sign had to be the most challenging to get possession of, and the most admired by the Warden.
Lastly, the purchase of this Red Indian globe from my friend Ted, has to top the globe purchases for the year!
I've had 2 other tremendous purchases this year, but don't have either in my possession yet, so they will have to wait until next year! Both are worthy of BOTY, and I look forward to posting them for all to see.
What's really exciting is the thought of the new discoveries and finds that will be possible in the coming year! The stuff is out there, and its just a matter of networking with others, and spending some time searching thru newspapers, the internet, and old rumors!
Good luck to everyone in 2015, its gonna be exciting!

This year was a Skelly year for me with two buys, one of five globes in January and one buy of I think twelve more later in the year (Thanks Maurice). The Skelly bug bit me last year when I purchased a complete collection from Larry Ivy that included five globes. For some reason, after that it started raining Skelly globes and I couldn't seem to stop buying them. There are still a few I don't have so I'm not out of the woods yet. This is a picture of some of them, the rest I have scattered around, some not even unboxed as I plan to get shelving built this winter for a Skelly wall, I'll post that when it's done later on. The Aviation globe in the pic is a repop/fantasy but I think its kinda cool anyway. Also, I was thrilled to find the mint Blue Sunoco on metal from TedC in December, thanks Ted. It is still on its way here but I figured it qualified for this post......I have several more buys of the year but will have to shoot some pics of them. A lot of great buys here, the Oldgas network is a virtual gold mine for those of us who are lucky enough to be a part of it....GB
