Take it to your nearest welding shop. They can fix that by brazing or welding pretty simple. It will look just like it would of if repaired in 1923. Mitch

While I don't usually start by being critical, you are asking us for information, but the only piece of information you give is is that you need infor on a part of a gas pump that was made by G&B in 1923.
My Gas Pump Identification book list at least seven pumps (and I assume you are asking about gas pumps, you didn't specify this) that G&B was making during the year. I always have to assume you have a copy of my 2nd Edition of the Gas Pump Identification book, and that you have turned to page 158/159 and seen your pump, and that you can inform us as to what model the pump is If you don't have a copy of my book (which might be understanding since it is out of print, and the 3rd Edition will not appear until late spring, 2015....but Amazon does offer a e-book of the 2nd edition for only $15.00 - $19.00, it might be an good inventment.
Since my 2nd book had about 1500 gas pumps in it and the 3rd edition will probably have 2000 gas pumps (+about another 1000 gas pump images, you should be able to answer your own question when the books comes out.
A little better explanation will probably get you a much better answer.

That's cast iron and can easily be welded with a mig welder.
