Real or Fake?
So many out there. I have read past conversations on the subject.
If real, Value?
Thank you

No makers mark
DSP
Heavy sign
Don't know thickness. Looking at the sign in the morning. Hoping to confirm my reason for a long drive or save my family time.

IF ITS REAL. It could be worth 1200 or more. I have always been extremelly cautious with these particular signs because they are repoped and counterfitted a bunch. I have seen fake ones with the makers mark stamp on it. Honestly, I can't remember ever seeing an authentic one that didn't have property of the ford motor company stamped on it. I would be extremelly worried about this sign if it was almost mint and had no makers mark on it. But, it's hard to tell for sure unless im looking at it in person. Good luck and be careful.

I noticed the same thing. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time. If you want this particular sign you can find a real one fairly easy. I would wait on a winner.

90 min. drive each way for me and after some more questions the seller realized he didn't mention it was a repop from the 60's, he believes. Thank you for the info guys. I had doubts and you confirmed them. Appreciate it!

Jamie
