While I was cleaning the basement I came across these old Phillips 66 decals I got at a auction a few years back. At one point in time before I got them they had gotten wet & stuck together. I was going to toss them then got a idea. I picked out the worst one & took it to the sink & soaked it down. The backing came off like it should of after a few min. I felt like it was Christmas. I thought it was cool to see the old decals just to bad they could not be used on a pump. Thought you might enjoy to see them too Before After side 1 [This message has been edited by gasoildude (edited 03-20-2008).]

Great trick!
Items like this are just priceless to see because you can peer into the past to see what new old stock items looked. Imagine just how obsolete things like this were back in the day. No doubt boxes of NOS stuff was sent to the trash because there wasn't any use for it.
Its too bad about the tears because the graphics are vibrant, particularly the UNIQUE sticker, which has great colors.
