I notice the color of the flange is different. If that were a Texaco sign it would raise a question mark sign. What's up here on these signs ?
Thanks Doug

What do you mean what's up ? Both lollipop signs are the same color . The one on the pipe and base isn't the same sign as the round one on my bench. All three flanges are the same color.. Here are two different Canadian Oak tins, both different colors because they are likely both from different era's..

I believe Doug is simply asking about the difference between the red round porcelain signs and the brown flange, in most instances companies stuck with the same color scheme. Good question Doug, maybe someone with knowledge will answer the question.

Doug's question "If that were a Texaco sign it would raise a question mark sign. What's up here on these signs ?"
Sounds to me like a question of repro or fake sign here ? I am a little gun shy here with the ***** I just went thru and this isn't even my sign for sale. I thought I did explain why I thought the difference was on the tins.. I was just trying to help the seller out by posting what I have sold and know..

I think Doug is asking if the flange on Wes' sign is black? isnt it just the lighting?
