JJ, you'd better get those things in a safe place before "the curse" gets them.

I left a bid at an auction sale here in North Dakota this weekend and was surprised that I only got one of the 5 items I left bids on! Darn gas & oil stuff remains pretty strong around here. Glad it was the Ford sign that I got though--marked Veribrite and Property of Ford Motor co. I bought the Fram clock here on Old Gas from ALEX, but it had a couple issues and it took me some time before I could get it unpacked and looked at. Turns out it was an easy fix and now Mick is worried! LOL He thinks I won't be sending him any more repair jobs, but nothing could be farther from the truth, as I was only lucky, and I really don't like working on clocks! The parts are just too darn small.

Not much for me lately, but last week I managed tog get tese NOS Esso plastic letters from a fellow collector here in Sweden. The "E" measures just under 16 inches so it may actually be a place left on the wall for them ;-)

Couple of small Texaco items. A pump topper from when Texaco went to unleaded and a plastic unused Texaco Fertilizer sign...

I already Had the Mobilgas M&S 80 script top but the 1937 M&S 70 followed me home today. You really don't see the model 70 hardly at all so I had to step up to the plate for that one which is to say I didn't pay a "Picker" price, but its the first one I had the opportunity to buy and I dig the patina and will just clean it up and enjoy

I picked up this can from ebay. It's rough but I have never seen this paint scheme and it's not in any of my books. The taller thinner lettering and the bell shape match a can in "American Oil Cans...." that dates to the 30's. It's been soldered on and there is no bottom and it's rusted, but I love it!!
