Cool old Sunoco tin sign I was able to make a deal on. Fairly new to collecting Sunoco, but haven't seen a lot of the blue background tin Sunoco signs (most seem to be Yellow with Blue letters). Not sure which is earlier, but really like the look of this one!

I gave the auctioneer my card at peotone last year. When he got the signs recently he remembered me and called so I got a phone bid during auction smile When I won them for 250 each today I drove right over 15 minutes from peotone and picked them up...worked out great...

Got this super nice coast to coast hardware and auto supplies sign. Has some scratches and chips but is really killer. Double sided enamel with hanging bracket.

I would guess they are referring to the different weights and types of oils they offered....as in plural.

Most of the vertical Opalines I have seen say Oil. Don't think I ever saw a cookie cutter say Oils just a few of the flat ones like Tom found. Just a small difference that Sinclair collectors notice

Mike, that looks killer! As does the rest of the garage!

I finally got my Sunland lenses I bought last week off ebay mounted on a low profile globe body, and picked up two small tins..

Awsome buys everyone, and that Sinclair aviation is awsome! Keep them coming!

I've had this clock for a few weeks, but I had taken it apart right away to fix the ballast for the lights. I finally found the one I needed on the internet and got the clock all put back together and mounted on the wall!
