Here is my first attempt at a "rustoration" of my Wayne 60 I had a great time doing this it was a fun project I got the decals from GPH and wet sanded them to give them the aged look as well as the hose I have to age the brass ends to make them fit the look at some point,
overall pretty happy with how it turned out still looking for an original White Crown add glass to finish it off hope you enjoy it.

Thanks to Matt Alvarez and Anthony (aka Big Block Cat) for all the tips on doing one of these wink

Bob.

It came out awesome. They are fun to do because they do not have to be perfect and imperfections make them better. Good job!!!

Looks great. Use ammonia fumes to darken and add an aged patina to that brass. Congratulations Dave

Y'know.............if you beat the hell out of it with a hammer and put it on ebay, it would probably fetch $15K.

Lol....
I get where your coming from but there's 2 problems there one is the use of a hammer on it (ouch), second is selling it I have a hoarding issue with this stuff once its here it rarely leaves also the wife loves it to the point she said it should go in the living room shocked
after I regained consciousness I told her there was no way it was going into the living room as I wasn't going to move it since it still has the guts,
Funny she seemed a bit sad that it wasn't going inside...... laugh
