well I sold a bunch of stuff at Fred's and walked around with a pocketful of cash and could find nothing I couldn't live without, luckily on the way home a fellow oldgasser gave me a lead and I was able to buy these few items very reasonably, thanks Jeff!

I had a great time at the Stokes show, and followed up with the dinner at Kenny's house. It was good seeing all of the fellow oldgasser's. Here are my buys from the show. Keep them coming everyone!

I had a good week this week. Persistence pays off. I finally got to purchase these two Wayne 501 display pumps. They were sitting side by side in a old barn for years. The farmer finally agreed to sell them to me. Pretty cool to find one but two is even cooler.

Besides the Shell pump that Dan restored for me I got these pieces. I have always wanted this version of the Gillette tire sign but I just wish it was in a little better shape. Kendall is pretty nice condition and is the first lollipop I have owned.

It was a Veedol kind of a weekend at Fred Stokes for me!

5 gallon can and a 5 quart can

28 X 22 double sided tin

I also found this red shade to go over my wife's mid century cracked ice table and chairs in the kitchen.

Picked up a Nice Erie 129 with game worn / survivor paint & two diff original pump plates. Interlocking G would match the paint style. Guy added the globe mounting ring which is unfortunate, but now that its there have to decide if to put the 12.5" gulf glass body globe on it that I have or remove the holder and have a .75" hole and two bolt holes in the top. Came with white powdercoated globe body I can use for something else and 13.5" gulf repro lenses which will be sold at the next show.

I went to an auction of the contents of a closed up service station in Corsica, South Dakota, last week, and I was able to buy the Champlin cans and the Polarine sign! I have been wanting that Polarine sign for a long time, but I've only had the chance to buy it twice, and this time I didn't miss! LOL
The Cities Service plate is an 8 incher and came from ebay. I have never seen an 8 incher before and I'm not sure what they were used on? Does anyone know? I'm positive about the authenticity, just haven't ever seen one? Must be a rare bird!

I wasn't letting that one get away from me Bryce. That's the only one I've ever seen, but now that I have one, they'll probably be coming out of the woodwork!

I saw that as well and the sign was only 50 miles from me. I felt it was real but did some research and could not find anything like it.

Heres another one that I picked up from Ebay. I forgot to put it on my other post.
This is my second Cities Service Gas Company sign. The other one is longer and has "Measuring Station" wording on it. Heres a pic of the 2 of them, up on the wall!

Bryce--I'm quite a bit older than you and I have a feeling that someday in the future, you'll have another chance to buy all of it again! If you stop bidding me up and I get things cheaper, I'm sure it will be cheaper when my estate sells all of it! LOL
