I found and bought this 1927 visible today at a garage sale. It was laying on it's side under a tarp in a barn. I asked if it was for sale, and was lucky enough to strike a deal and bring it home.

Nice Mlwaukee pump! And nice globe. The top is often missing or ruined on these models of pump.
I'm lucky to find a rusted oil can at my local sales.

Wow! At a garage sale?? Crazy!!
Incredible, laying on it's side and the globe didnt get broke!!
Did the owner know exactly what he had?
Is that original paint do you think?
Great Find!!!

was the globe part of the deal, or just the pump?

regardless, heck of a score... just wondering if when you lifted the tarp and saw the globe there too if you ***** your pants! smile

You should correct your header-that is a garage sale find of a life time. Is the globe original? And I am with Bryce, my underwear would have needed changing. All I ever see at garage sales is porcelain tea sets not signs

Thanks everyone. She had the globe stored in her closet. It is glass and original to the pump.

I just finished talking with Bill (the pump owner) and a couple Red Indian globe experts and that globe is an 80's model repop. The pump is about as nice a Milwaukee, as I've seen for an original condition pump though. A person would be hard put to find one as nice as that!

Hey Kevin or Bill what were the determining features on the originality (or lack there of) on the globe?

An original Red Indian globe will have only 4 points on the last group of feathers on the bonnet. The 80's model repops had 5 points. Modern repops also have 4 points but are usually marked and if not, you can tell from the back side of the lens.
