Anyone care to take a guess at what these Shell plastic letters are worth? Found them in an antique store recently and need to make an offer. They are attached to a mounting bracket on bottom of letters so appears to have been mounted on top of the station? They are not lighted.

Thanks,
Clayton

Go to eBay's Shell section of Gas & Oil Collectibles:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Shell-/833/i.html

Check the box on the left column for "Completed Auctions" then type "letters" in the search box and click the "Search" button.

Some letter sets sold, some didn't for the prices for which they were offered. Note the differences.

What are the measurements? I see two sets. If they are as large as I think they are I would think $300-$400 per set.
Might be because I like Shell more then the rest.

These things are about 6' long. One set has an "L" damaged unfortunately, which you can see in the photo if you look closely. I went ahead and purchased them yesterday.

Thanks for the feedback!

Can you/will you disclose the price as it may be helpful for folks down the road? And if you don't want to...I understand...

Sure, after some negotiating, ended up at $225 for the pair. One "L" is badly damaged however, on one of the signs. Who knows, maybe I can find another one with damage cheap enough to replace the damaged letter? The other one is in good condition.

Thanks,
