hi everyone. not sure what era this is from--frame is covering any dates. was wondering what the value is. I purchased it from the widow of a 89 year old man along with some other things. he used to own a Sunoco station and had this in his shop for years. bought a bunch of cans from her as well. my friend is her neighbour and I was first one allowed in and I had to act fast on it as I knew it would be gone soon looked on ebay, but only seen an 8 ft one and it didn't have the arrows it has maybe 2-3 paint dabs on each side where he touched up some bra spots. and some touch ups on edge of arrows. sign is very straight and great gloss to it

more desirable than larger version, appears in great condition, and is uncommon to see complete as that one is. value is high for sure!

The two stations are exactly the same design and that caduceus logo is a killer. I think the middle picture maybe from TO as well.

Toronto ON or TO. They use a electric trolley system with those colors. And Shawn is from the area.

At auction I think that would bring $3000 easy.

All three pieces should be dated. It is much earlier than 50's...Mine was 1928 and I sold it for $2800...it sold in about 5 minutes. I think you have a really special item there.

thanks guys for all your comments. I really appreciate it I looked for a date all over this sign but no luck. I believe it was made in Canada, as it has a name of a Canadian town on it (can't think of the name right now). The arrows have some chips on the edges that were touched up at one point. they seem to take the worst. I haven't even cleaned this sign yet. this is how it was hanging in the mans garage. I am torn on keeping this one.but with two 6 footers, that is a lot of wall space. I know it is more rare, but I prefer the looks of my 6ft Texaco sign better. My wife thinks I should keep it for future investment, but you never know where the peak is at. I don't usually sell my things, I collect because I love this stuff.not for resale. I may be weird lol, but this stuff brings a nice feeling for me when looking at them.Things today just don't seem to have the care put into the artwork I had to grab this one quick without much thinking time.I kind of feel like I am the new caretaker for it since the older man passed. I guess i'll make up my mind sooner or later. I know i would have regrets later lol
