i am trying to hunt down a few globe bodies but at the time what is the best way to store them bubble wrap? newspaper?
collect jenney, independent oil co. , underhay oil co , valora motor oil and other massachusetts brands.

I store them bubble wrapped and double boxed with peanuts...just as if I was going to ship them. Best protection against future accidents and regret. Remember that saying; An ounce of prevention is better then a pound of cure.

i was just curious because i see alot of people talking about lens with paper marks wasnt sure if i used news paper if the ink would run onto the lens

I just sit them on a shelf with the 12" square foam sheets I use for shipping between the lenses. I'm the only one that accesses that area of my pole barn - so no worries about someone knocking them off the shelf.
Between the overruns I have and the original lenses sitting on the shelf waiting for bodies, I probably have 100 lenses sitting there. Some are boxed up in groups of 10 - but not all.
