Yup...I had to try. There's probably four or five different lenses, about fifty pieces glued together & at least two different styles/designs. 3/4s of it is one lens. I'm really happy with it so far tho...like a can or sign that's beat up. It'll have to do until I find better one.

Looking good. Are you planning on cutting pieces out of the extra pieces to account for any missing pieces?

Randy, I've been using Elmer's Krazy glue & I'm out of pieces that are needed, But here's another pic of what I got so far. Thanks Dave! I'm not sure if I can cut the extras clean enough to fit. I've been over/underlying the different lenses like a mosaic.

I get a glass shop to trim ad glasses for me. A friend of mine owns a glass shop and he has a large wet vertical belt sander that works great for grinding and fitting ad glasses.

Y Looks like fun. You can cut it your self. Get a 10.00 cutter. Just score it firmly on the smooth side -once-, grasp it and snap it. YOU CAN DO IT!

what could be great with this project is making a stained glass with the broken piece, joined each piece by lead and make a round metal frame that can be hanged on the wall or next to a window, that could be a nice result

Thanks guys!

Jim, I have a cutter, But need some practice. I have enough pieces if they were cut correctly the lens could be filled in.

Nucky, That's a great idea! I have the remains of a stained glass Texaco lens/window that would be an ideal candidate. Here's a pic of that one.

Kurt, It took more time to find it all. Once the pieces started sticking time flew.

Thanks again guys!
