Sold at Shackeltons today... Anyone here get this? Probably the cleanest one out there... I think someone got a good deal on it, I was bidding but it went over my budget.

That sign is awesome!!

I was watching a couple Sunoco cans. One I had never seen before but it was grouped with a 2 others. Went for 3-4 times what I was willing to pay. The other two cans were only $10-$15 cans. Went for $40 a piece. Crazy!

I guess so.
This sold for 250 + premium.
My opinion, 100-120.

Don't follow Sunoco cans so not disagreeing with the posted value. As a general rule, Canadian cans sell for more then a similar US can. Clean Canadian Imperial quart cans are a lot more difficult to find then their US counterparts.

Looks like I really missed the boat on that kite sign! I was planning on putting in a bid and decided it would go too high anyway and besides, its too close to Iowa Gas, and I'm looking at a couple other things anyway!
There was a whole pile of meat left on the bone with that sign!

I was there and the sign went over my budget also. Absolutely beautiful, heard it went to Oregon. Ted

i agree with you Kevin... still meat on the bone. Hard to sit at a computer and bid $5k on something with 1 low resolution picture...

Sounds like me and Ted were in the same boat, while Kevin was in the boat that never left the port! smile
