Over the weekend I went camping with my gf we came across this. I believe it was a station at some point (could be wrong) on other side of the building doors opens butterfly style to allow maybe a vehicle inside. The interior of the building was full of all sorts of items. The building was set off the county road about a 1/8 mile with a half circle drive way leading back to the street and I saw remnants of what appeared to be a concrete island! The driveway led right up the the front door. The location of the building is right on the county line between two towns out in the sticks. Thought I would share my findings here. What do you guys think? I just imagine 1920's and 30's vehicles pulling up to that place. Pumping gas from visibles and a big pole sign hanging by the road. Ok I need to stop dreaming now! -Anthony

Might have had Cabins/camp sites outback for travelers [early day motels]. Never understood why they would have front door under the eve, instead of the Gable end. All the snow/rain coming off roof you have have to walk thru/shovel out.

Yeah the campsite was down a dirt trail about 3 miles back from this house. It struck me as a station but It was just a hunch.

...I think you should look for the dump - IF you can get permission from the property owners...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
