I came across these photos while cleaning up the pc and thought i would share them. Truly amazing! Not mine, and not sure who can take credit for it, perhaps Kyle Moore Collection?? Anyway, enjoy!

MY MY! I wonder how long it took to build a collection like that! When I think of the little collection I have, but all the time I've spent researching, browsing ebay and craigslist hours on end; traveling 300 miles for one $100 sign....

I recognize it. It appeared in PCM several years ago, and I believe it was a collection in Minnesota or someplace up north. I`ll try to find the magazine.

FOUND IT!! Through the kindness of several collectors, I have most issues of PCM and Check the Oil from 1982 to the present. It really helps with researching. This collection of globes and signs belonged to Alvin Mielke, who lived in Minnesota, and the collection was photographed by Ron Bettin for the June, 2007 issue of PCM.

That's a shame. Wonder what ever happened to the collection? My eyes were drawn to the lower left side of picture 1. That Power Ethyl globe should come home to Montana.....LOL

I was invited to come to a party that Alvin had with the Late Mike Rhein Rich Gannon, and a few others. All I can say is it was very impressive. Still have loads of photos that I look at every now and then. The collection is still in the family.
