Bought this Conoco can off of ebay in hopes it would clean up quite a bit. Got it today and with a little work, it's looking better. Need advice on how best to clean top and bottom. I know aluminum foil has been talked about but it has a lot of surface rust….Thanks

can is cleaning up pretty good so far..

Please tell us how you did it! I have used foil on some pretty rough cans and it helped quite a bit, just have to make sure and not damage the label.
Always looking for Mississippi company items, Billups, southland, ride with rose.

On the paint i used a light cut rubbing compound and took my time. I tried soft scrub, dish soap and a few others but they didn't help much.
