Getting a grant to redo the building. 4000 sq. feet in all. Started power washing the floors today. Lots of plans. Will update as I go along. Cars, neons, and petroliana.

It's a start. Was the shop for an old car dealership. Not planning on a palace for now. Have about 40 neons and mabey 10 pumps. Gonna have a bricked garage facia in the back with 3 bays. So the above area will be for storage. Signs on the walls and roll around displays powered by pull down recepticals.

I was wondering about what was going on with the grant. I'm glad you're able to finally get started. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished with those neons glowing!

Spent the weekend power washing the back half of the building floor. Wouldn't wanna do that for a living. Then we sanded it and mopped it 4 times. Gonna put down primer next then 2 coats of epoxy paint with flecks. Will be a long process but I cant wait to see the end results.

I did my garage about 10 years ago, but I didn't use the flecks. I chose the tan color and we came back in and waxed and buffed it. Buffing that floor brought back all kinds of memories from the Air Force. I liked the tan color 2 part epoxy. I think I spent about $600 to do the floor with 2 coats. Now the garage is a church and there's carpet and tile in it...

A friend of mine at work was tearing down his grandmothers barn and I bought all the metal for $100 and he delivered and dropped it off at the door. The wood was old culled lumber from Lowe's that I bought for about $50. I didn't have much money left over after I bought the floor epoxy, so I had to do everything I could to cut costs.....

Jeff,
Is this going to be a museum or just a place to display your collection? Going to be cool
