Just currious if anyone here has bought Jacks book recently? I sent him payment a couple of weeks ago and have emailed him a couple of times but no response. Not sure what is up... anyone have any ideas?

MM, Sorry but we don't want to get this topic going again. I guess this is one of the reasons i bought mine from this site. The proceeds help the site and you don't have to worry if your going to get your book from Jack or not. I am not bad mouthing Jack but the best way to buy stuff from Jack is in person. Good luck... just keep e-mailing!

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

MM..What John was relaying is that people have said in the past that Jack is a little slow on the shipping. i have not one time heard of anyone not getting their book once ordered. It may take a little longer than usual but it is worth the wait and you will love it.

Jack is a one man operation. When he is out of town or otherwise unavailable, there is nobody else to answer questions or process orders. He does travel. I'm not making excuses, just being realistic. Jack's work to compile the gas pump reference book is one of the best things to happen to this hobby in recent years. For that reason alone, I ask for extra patience before assuming that there is a problem.

Well everything is ok... just some mis-communication.
