I recently picked up this early Goodyear cardboard tire stand that I expect is from the 20-30's being the tire in the globe is a "balloon" tire. There are no numbers or dates on the tire stand itself. Just the makers name. Is there any more accurate way to date Good year advertising. Does anyone know when did they stopped using the tire and globe logo?

One member told me some time ago (I can't remember who) that the green globe indicated 20's?

...I don't know if I agree with this 'green Earth' thing, but I agree: late 20s- early 30s...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
