Best way to get the parts is get out to a swap meet and buy a complete one that has a rotten or folded shade.
see me at Mason Dixon Gas, Spring Carlisle M114-115, and Hershey C4E-35.

Flash or Outside works Good too!
Kitchens usually have better lighting inside the house!

I have three shades like the one on the left that I need sockets for too. I looked online once and there are still some new ones out there that I think would work but I can't remember where they were. If you find a source let me know as I want to use mine to hang over my desk in my new room.....if I can remember or find those I was looking at I will post it when I get home in a week or so....GB

i took a quick pic on my lunch break it was in my basement

Some programs will let you Adjust the contrast of images, I lightened your image in Photo Shop.
