I'm beginning to think a nozzle hanger for a Mae West style Fry is like a radiator cap for a VW Beetle. What's the deal... and I can never tell from any of the pictures I've seen whether there is an intended device, or if just hung wherever convenient, or maybe just juryrigged. Any input/answers?

I believe the banana nozzel has a hook that will hang very nicely on the shaft of the gate valve (which is often missing from these pumps)behind the gatevalve handle. Anybody got any other way?

Thanks, Mr. Wadhams. You are correct, I am missing the gate valve on this pump. It just has a nipple to elbow connection, and then on to the hose. Perhaps the hook on a banna style nozzle will hang well enough on the 2" nipple. I will also start looking for a gate valve.
