Howdy everybody,
Been a pretty nice day for anything. 67 degrees, Sunny then cloudy and even felt a few sprinkles. Had to take a nap as I ran out of steam halfway through the day.
May our lives glorify God,
Michael

spent most of the day building concrete forms, pad for the pumps/lights, new pads at the openings on the deck etc. now if i could just get someone out here to give an estimate /pour the big slab in front of the shop. its funny how people cry about the economy & not having work, but when you call for an estimate & they him-haw around then dont show up when scheduled,,,

Concrete guys dont need money! One or two jobs and we're set for the year! Its one of the biggest scams going. We are a bunch of crybaby, sissies. A little pad like that is easy, just do it yourself. Maybe they're busy?

jim, didnt mean to ***** anyone off, i was referring to everything, not just the concrete job. roofing, landscaping etc. are all the same around here with the "i'll be out (insert time/date) & you never hear from them again. i'm pouring the small stuff myself, but looking to get a 17'x37' slab poured in front of the shop, so not like i'm wanting to be put at the top of the list for a $200 job.
