Just wanted to drop a quick note letting everyone know that there will be an auction this year at Columbus. I am humbled by being asked to conduct the sale and realize that I have some large shoes to fill and expectations to meet given the success of my predecessor - Matthews Auctions at this event. The Auction will be Saturday, June 21 at 10:30 AM Eastern Time. An online catalog will be available through Proxibid beginning May 21. I do have a nice smaller collection already consigned and am seeking other quality pieces to round out the offering for this well attended and promoted event. Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding consignments or if you have other questions or comments.
We will be charging a Buyers Premium of 10% to On-Site bidders - 15% Absentee/Internet

Glad to hear this Rory. CTO has become my favorite show it has a great set up and the auction was always a fun time. I hated to hear Dan was unable to do the auction this year, but I'm very happy they found someone who knows this hobby and will do a good job. See you June

I'm very pleased that you took this over Rory. I wanted to say hello to you at Palm Beach but you were WAY busy and we had to get down to Lauderdale to catch a plane home to California. Look forward to seeing you at Columbus.

Show THIS YEAR. The auction will start at 10:30 am on Saturday morning, June 21st. There is already a nice collection consigned, however Rory is still looking for quality consignments. didn't you get a confirmation from Embassy when you booked your room ?
Kathleen never sent you the same email I and a lot of other guys got ?
Actually what she sent isn't really a confirmation for your lot... just an acknowledgement of paying the fee and registering as a participant not a vendor..

Does anyone know what time the Thursday outdoor vending is allowed to start this year? I think it was four or five pm last year.

Paul, Shawn, Ray...thanks for the kind words...As I stated previously I have some big shoes to fill and high expectations to meet and in a very short time period.
