This is a foreign sign, isn't it? If so, that should be stated in your ad.

This isn't the same sign he tried to sell last May. Could he have 2 originals?

About time he was held accountable for his lack of disclosure as to the origin of the signs he offers for sale. A blatant disregard for potential buyers and the forum rules.

Some of you guys are so ridiculous. I know it must bother some of you obviously that I have a killer sign collection and find rare signs. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything. Ive never sold a sign on here to anyone that wasn't 100% happy about the sign. I live Florida and yes I buy and sell both foreign and US made signs. I know some people do not have enough knowledge or just don't like foreign signs which is just fine. No this isn't the same sign that I had for sale before. Huskybob they made more than one original sign and I have had multiples of many signs. I buy good rare signs anytime I find them if the price is rite. I don't sell anything but original signs. Notchad "the rust is.the wrong shade of color" thats funny man. Your a true expert, you should write a book. If you don't like the signs don't buy them its very simple that just means it's a better opportunity for someone else to own a great sign. I give everybody a hundred percent money back guarantee.

Nothing wrong with foreign signs, I buy them all year long, foreign gas pumps and oil cans also.
When you live in Canada and don't care for the graphics and prices of Red Indian, White Rose and others foreign is the direction to go.

I only know English buddy, the book would do you know good cause it would have American made original stuff. But you're right though.... Someone should make a book that includes all foreign and repop junk in it to let more buyers know what to look for! Keep em in flargentina

...the bottom line is that foreign signs should be labeled as such, when offered on Oldgas...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Mark is absolutely right! This isn't a discussion of the merits or downfalls of foreign signs! That is left for the potential buyer to decide. Its simply a request and reminder to properly label all foreign signs offered for sale here.

Forgive me for asking ....
And I am not trying to ruffle feathers.
Is anyone questioning the authenticity of this sign?
I want to know because if it's real I want to look for one if I'm ever over there and the dollar is strong.
Or if I see one over here I can afford.
Again,...not trying to fan any flames.

RIP Kiwi

It seems like buyers don't want to have to do any research of any kind or get educated on what they want to buy and collect.. now all the stuff has to be clearly marked , reproduction and dated, is it old or is it new, and how old is it, 35 years old ( which is about when they started reproducing gasoline collectibles )now what country is it from, Europe, Canadian, USA, Asian, is it priced too high, if it's to low maybe it's a fake... common guys,, do you need to be lead by the hand and baby sat when spending your money..do your homework,, put some of your own effort into buying.. don't be a bunch of winer's...the guy's right, if you don't want it, don't buy it..

Wes.......
