OK guys, here's your chance to own a great piece of history - owner remembers it being there when he first saw it in the early 40's and it was still in operation. Believe these first came in use in the 20's? This baby would be off the chart awesome if restored. Think it measures 11'X14' and is mounted on a concrete slab. Still in the original spot it was built. Included a picture of the old oil change pit that is next to the station. Building was equipped with 2 restrooms in the rear. Station is located in Central Illinois. Buyer is responsible for removing - owner could offer some assistance. Asking price of $1200. Have about a dozen pictures so PM or email for additional information and if interested. Thanks!

Man Oh Man! If that was closer I'd be ALL over it. Most of us have paid more for a sign or pump. Restoration would be fun & easy. Can you just imagine how kool a place it'd be once done?....your friends would never leave. Do not allow this structure to be lost.

Steve sent you a PM asking for more images... Also, does the Owner have a more extensive history for the Station?

What were the roofs made out of? Wonder what kind of shape its in. Lots of rusty bolts but well worth the money.

Like Bob would like to know what brand was sold. Anyone doesn't have a place for it I'll come get it for ya,and you can have weekends!

That is a beauty! Hope someone on Oldgas.com gets it. Would look awesome restored. A blast from the past even just as it is with some unrestored pumps and signs with serious patina.
