Ebay # 161237233694

Clearly states in bold letters that it's not a reproduction.
Fake..from what I've learned from this site.

Reported.

Hopefully we can get it pulled before some ends up wasting their money.

Report them guys or they will keep on coming!!!
I reported all three and sent them all this message:

You are selling a reproduction sign as being old, vintage or original. It is not. Please copy and paste to see this thread that will show you proof. Thank you.

I remember restoring pumps in the mid 90s and couldn't wait to get my New Webbers Catalog...They came out a couple times a year I think..Thats where I would buy globes, signs,ad glass, rubber gasket..(Loved when they came out with Gilbarco 996 door rubber ) and a few parts they offered for common pumps...One catalog had the "new" made Sinclair ppp...It was awesome because up to that time I had to use originals for restores. But I thought to myself ...Someday these will be mistaken for originals and they should mark them on the backs at least. I at first thought they had found NOS plates and was selling them ,til I saw the differences...I saw at shows during that time guys selling them as originals and see them sold today at shows as originals.... Its a uphill battle so keep trying...Just my 2 cents.

Googled high and low looking for an original picture of one of these plates on a real pump at a real station. Doesn't seem to exist. All the pictures are from to far away.

If you have a good one, please post it up.

This is from the Benjamin and Henderson Sinclair book. You can't tell from my down sized version of the pic, but it's quite clear in the actual book picture that this sign on the pump that they are talking about is one of these fakes. Are they saying the Bennett pump dates from 1961 or the fake sign?
