I'm hoping to be in a position to setup at a couple of shows, next year, and this would be one of the ones I would like to go to.
It's huge and a blast! I went many times when I lived in Longview, Wa. and I never did get anywhere close to 1/2 of the way through all the spaces!
I also used to like the all Ford meet in Astoria around this time of year.
Go if you have the chance!

I am a fan of the wacky cars built by Ed Big Daddy Roth. A quick phone call from my friends in California to confirm hotel details turned up some good news for Ed Roth fans. His son Dennis Roth will be making a appearance. Dennis will be hanging out in the both of Graphic Express. A company licensed to manufacturer Ford, Chrysler and General Motors signs. Just wanted to pass this on for those that dig it.

Sure hope someone does the "sun dance"

Forecast calls for rain, rain, rain & rain ! frown

Pretty typical for this time of year. Not going stop me but I sure hate it for the outside vendors ! (been there done that...)

Anyway, hope to see ya all there ! Steve Z

Back myself, was a little disappointed this year.....I didn't find anything I really had to have either :-(

On a better note the weather Thursday & Friday was decent and the buyers seemed to be there in force ! I saw a lot of items with "sold" on them.

My problem is that I should be selling instead of buying....lol ! have to much stuff stockpiled right now !

Well sad to say, things just did not work out for me. Things just did not come together and I missed the show. 1st time in about 38 years that I was not ready. Even the sign I bought on here at the start of March had not shipped until Monday. Just was not my year, all this stuff now.

Craig, I know the feeling. I didn't go as I had to bid on a property. Long story short, Got into a bidding war...way beyond the listing price and still got outbid. I didn't get the property and I missed out on Portland.

I just got home tonight.
I found the weather to be good and the event to be more of a social trip then a buying one which is good. Always nice to drive under 6 hours and be able to visit with friends from southern California. I picked up some smalls for myself and a dozen oil cans for a friend. Did not see any pumps or signs that I had to have. Took this pic at the race track because I like Shell.
Did anyone else see this kid walking a 4 month old goat?

it was disappointing--we manage to sell 6 restore pumps- plus alot of smalls--
the plus was the find after wards we got to do some picking on the way home
we found this one place that the guy said he would only sell enough to fill the truck only-- this way it left for others that were comming which was cool of coarse i pick the good stuff--i left one item that i regret--we pre-scale we were 550 lbs over weight--i told my buddy when we got to scale we would jump out and let the truck roll thru the scale--our good luck scale were close when we pass thru --
thanks oregon it was good after all--would do it again
